Built on the medieval city walls, this 19th century country house maintains its historic feeling with its original floors and wood ceilings to rediscover the charm of tradition

 

The antique furnishings and decorations bring back the time honored sensation of a warm welcome and hospitality.

 

We at Nenà al Borgo Castello are such a large "open" family, because we love to entertain and converse with our guests, share with them stories and life experiences, journeys, emotions, to listen to good music while sipping a glass of wine, we love talking about art, history, culture, cooking, culinary traditions that we are trying to revive today, spreading and passing them to those who appreciate.

 

We love the sound and peaceful country life and its slow pace, dictated by the cycle of nature, we love to pick fresh vegetables in the fields and pick olives and seasonal fruit from our trees to make genuine and tasty jams, cakes and pies for the guests to taste the breakfast.

 

We love to do at home liquor with herbs of our fields, following the precious "secret" recipes handed down from our mothers and grandmothers.

 

We love to suggest tourist route to the discovery of ancient villages and towns in Ciociaria still intact and unknown, we love eno-gastronomic itineraries propose to do guests enjoy the finest foods and wines of our land, we love to organize trips on foot or by mountain bike trails in the beautiful and unspoilt of the Natural Park of Monti Aurunci.
