Cooking courses: traditional flavor of Ciociaria
For those who wish to know of our land the flavors, the typical habits of gastronomy. A cuisine, drawing from ancient traditions and being born poor, evolved with time and has created dishes now popular all over the world. We offer cooking classes where they will be revealed the secrets of the culinary tradition of Ciociaria and its specialty.
Our courses are organized for a weekend (1 or 2 days) or more days. Are held for groups of minimum 4 persons up to a maximum of 8 people, to give our guests the best possible service. From the choice of ingredients and raw materials, we will teach you to cook with love, simplicity and fantasy dishes and recipes, natural, wholesome and healthy. In our kitchen, we use only fresh vegetables of our land, local meats, still homemade cheeses... Also, for cooking we use only extra virgin olive oil we produce.
These are some "culinary theme" that you can choose to investigate:
- home-made pasta, made with eggs or flour and water (fettuccine, Sagnette, tagliatelle), potato gnocchi;
- pizza stuffed with seasonal vegetables, rustic pizzas;
- peasant soups (soup with" bread under ", Sagnette and beans, pasta and chickpeas);
- rustic vegetables, cheese, cannoli with ricotta, tart rustic , fried "pizzelle", omelettes (artichokes, asparagus, potatoes and sausage, zucchini);
- cookies, pies, cakes and sweets.
