The writer and poet Tommaso Landolfi
The person most famous and prestigious of Pico is the writer Tommaso Landolfi (1908-1979), considered one of the most important Italian writers of the twentieth century.
In the Old Town is his birthplace, where he wrote many of his works, and in the Municipal Library are kept books and other material on the life and works of Tommaso Landolfi.
Landolfi enthusiasts will retrace his steps, look in theirs, his eyes.... in an ideal trip to discover the places most dear to the writer, from the alleys of the village, where Landolfi loved to walk at night, to the landscape which he drew inspiration, as Campello ("The moonstone").
